Throughout her career and education, Alexis has a background working with children, individuals, and families in various capacities. When meeting with an adult, couple, family, or child, Alexis believes in the power of play. She sees the act of play as a medium through which people can connect with themselves and others, facilitating growth, healing, and change. Alexis works with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, behavioral/mood changes, relationship conflict, spirituality, depression, grief & loss, queer identity, and low self-esteem/body image. She strives to provide a presence of warmth and compassion while navigating the hard, difficult, painful, and gray spaces of life. In her free time, Alexis enjoys playing board games, having bonfires, training her dog, and spending time with her loved ones. Education: M.A. Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary, B.A Bethel University Professional Memberships: AAMFT (National Associaton of Marriage & Family Therapy) Michael has been in private practice since 1997. He specializes in helping individuals and families out of stressful and challenging dynamics, such as divorce, trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and significant medical conditions. Michael has an MSW (Masters of Social Work) and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). He is trained in family systems therapy, chemical dependency, discernment counseling and child and adolescent therapy, with an undergraduate degree in psychology. Michael has been working with couples, families and children his entire career. Michael enjoys running, adventures, and spending time with his wife and family.
